“My mum came to Brampton Lodge’s nursing unit at the end of May 2019. We had reached the stage where Mum could not be cared for safely at home, but we were very nervous about finding the right home. Brampton Lodge may not indulge in the glossy brochures and candelabras offered by other homes, but Mum liked it from her first visit. It has a calm, welcoming and well-organised feel. And that early impression has never changed. The staff are warm, friendly and professional, always. I am also impressed that the owners are frequently on site and are easily accessible if there were to be issues. Most importantly Mum settled in amazingly well and after six weeks was regarding Brampton Lodge as her home. She says she feels safer here than she did at home and is clearly happy and well cared for. Such an important decision but, thankfully, choosing Brampton Lodge was the right choice.”
