“I have just returned back to USA after a visit to see my mum at Brampton lodge.. The care I saw was beyond expectations. Staff truly care .. I saw it everyday in situations I know I could not do..
Personal care .. encouragement to do activities.. taking time to sit and chat with their ‘guest’ .. they become friends
As a daughter who lives many miles away .. I loved the interaction and care I saw.. many USA care homes could learn from Brampton lodge
Giving people dignity and care as they progress further into ageing.
I know my mum is still here because of the care she received here.Thank you to all staff not just the medical team.. staff who organise activities.. staff who pass meals out with a smile..The staff who provide the friendly hello as they pass the rooms.. – means so much.Thank you all”

Want to find out more about Brampton Lodge? How you access care home services? About our mealtimes? Extra costs? The answers to these and more can be found here.
How do I access care home services?
We encourage all residents to speak to their local services department to have an assessment of their needs and financial assessment. Even if you have significant funds you can still access financial assistance with the nursing care element of your fees. Privately funded residents should discuss accessing the home with the registered manager.
Are the bedrooms furnished?
Each bedroom is furnished with suitable bedroom furniture, however you are welcome to bring in small items of furniture, pictures and ornaments to make your room your own. You may also bring a TV.
What is mealtime like?
Mealtimes are flexible to suit your own routine and menus are planned in consultation with our residents. Let us know your favourite food and it can be arranged for you. There is always a choice at mealtimes.
What are the visiting hours?
Your family and friends are always welcome to visit you at anytime and can either visit you in your room, or in one of the lounges. We encourage families to be involved in your care and involved in care reviews. We have unrestricted visiting for the long term nursing home, however, there are visiting times for the Intermediate Care Unit which are; 14:00 – 20:00 Monday to Sunday.
